Clean and efficient transportation is top of our agenda.
With this in mind, we are switching to using hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), which is a biodiesel made of waste products and can be used without having to modify the vehicle’s engine. The result is 50-70% lower carbon emissions.
We currently have one van in our fleet running on HVO and will be adding another next year, plus we’re converting another from diesel to electric.
As leading contracts for petrol and diesel vehicles expire, we investigate the feasibility of making the switch to more eco-friendly alternatives such as electric and natural-gas driven engines.
