Trade in legacy devices
As we don’t manufacture our products in-house, our influence on production processes is fairly limited, but despite that, we’ve found a way to embed sustainability into our business practices.
Our DaaS solutions allow us to calculate our carbon footprint per product, and we’ve identified several components that impact our emissions. To support greater sustainability, we’ve set up Replay Services.

When it comes to hardware, our carbon footprint calculations are based on primary devices. We work with trusted suppliers who pursue sustainability policies that align with ours, and who also strive to be upfront about their impact. They include:
- Apple
- HP
- Lenovo
- Samsung

We also analyse our DaaS solution’s entire lifecycle to see how much carbon is emitted during the following phases:
- Onboarding
- SWAP
- Starters/leavers
- End-of-life
We also look into how devices are transported, focusing on logistics partners, some of whom have already published their emissions information.

When analysing our carbon impact, we take into account all packaging materials:
- Eco-friendly cardboard for DaaS deliveries
- Innovative and reusable bulk packaging made of cardboard and shipped on eco-pallets
- HP PageWide technology and ARTICONA inks in refillable and recycled cartridges
- FSC paper made of 80% recycled materials and sourced from sustainably managed forests for all accompanying documentation

Trading in your legacy devices is a breeze with our Replay Services. We handle everything from picking up your equipment, diagnostics and evaluation to wiping data, destruction or repairs. We work with ISO-certified partners every step of the way to ensure the best possible experience.

By analysing our DaaS solution’s carbon footprint, we know how many tons of CO2 we need to offset.
We use that information as a basis for buying carbon credits, which are then invested in climate and development programmes around the world to compensate for unavoidable emissions in order to make our supply chain greener.

We work with several non-profit organisations focused on international projects related to reducing carbon emissions including supporting the use of bio-gas and solar energy instead of fossil fuels. These projects all revolve around renewable energies, energy saving and creating and maintaining sustainable forests.
All are Gold Standard-certified, which means there are strict socio-economic requirements such as fair prices for carbon credits and specific standards for how farmers receive their payments.
