Junior Tender Coordinator

As a Junior Tender Co-ordinator, you won’t be thrown in at the deep end straight away. Quite the opposite. You’ll be given the time to really get to know our organisation, our clients and the way we work. In the first few months, you’ll shadow experienced colleagues, delve into previous tenders and discover how we make decisions regarding price, quality, risk and strategy. Step by step, you’ll progress towards an independent role within our tender team.

From day one, you’ll be working on tenders that really matter. With guidance from experienced colleagues, you’ll learn how to put together a winning bid, how to weigh up different interests and how to recognise opportunities for both clients and ARP. You’ll ask plenty of questions, make great strides and rapidly develop into a fully-fledged tender professional.

Your job.

  • You will be introduced to various departments within ARP and learn how our organisation supports clients from initial enquiry through to project handover.
  • You will shadow experienced tender colleagues and discover how public tenders are prepared, assessed and submitted.
  • You will study previous tenders and learn why certain decisions were made regarding strategy, pricing and quality.
  • You will learn to analyse tender documents and discover how client needs are translated into a distinctive tender submission.
  • You will liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers and vendors, and learn how negotiations and trade-offs are reached.
  • You will contribute ideas for creative and feasible solutions that enable ARP to stand out in tenders.

Your profile.

  • You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree.
  • You are new to the job market or have up to 1 to 3 years’ work experience.
  • You are curious and enjoy constantly asking questions and acquiring new knowledge.
  • You have a winning mentality and thrive on challenges.
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy researching information and making connections.
  • You dare to think creatively, but never lose sight of what is feasible.
  • You are good at switching between different tasks and maintain a clear overview as deadlines approach.
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language and can express yourself well in English.
