The aim of this field sales position is to bolster customer relationships.

As a public-sector Business Developer, you generate (new) business with our B2G customers. Your focus is on promoting the entire ARP portfolio and are a trusted partner for your customers, offering tactical and strategic advice. With a finger on the pulse of the latest IT trends and developments, you’ll leverage them to create the best-possible solutions for your customers. You’ll also play a key role in the pre-sales tender process, and work closely with the Tender Desk, Solution Specialists and Account Managers.

Your job

 

  • You’ll build long-term relationships with tender customers such as educational institutions and municipalities.
  • You’ll work closely with our account managers and collaborate with solutions specialists to be in a position to offer the best technical advice.
  • After identifying their IT issues, you’ll guide your customers on their digital transformation journey.
  • By accurately defining customers’ needs, you’ll be able to assess our chances of winning tenders.
  • Working closely with the Tender Desk, you’ll translate insights gained into offers.
  • You’ll work with both new and existing customers.

Your profile

  • You have at least a university degree or comparable professional experience.

  • You have 2-5 years’ experience in field sales.
  • You have no problem regularly travelling to meet customers within the Netherlands.
  • Experience in creating account plans, consulting projects and tenders is a plus.
  • You have an affinity for IT, but if you don’t have any specific skills, just bring a willingness to learn with you.
  • You have excellent written and spoken Dutch and English.
  • With an entrepreneurial spirit and strategic understanding, you know how to seize business opportunities and ensure sales projects are successful.
  • You love to build connections. You strengthen customer relationships and, as a result, increase how much they invest in new products and/or services
  • You are driven, empathetic, decisive and innovative.
