In this role, you’ll focus on public and semi-public organisations, including educational institutions, municipalities, regional authorities and other government bodies. These environments are defined by complex IT challenges, diverse stakeholders and demanding tender processes—and that’s exactly where you’ll excel. You understand how decisions are made in the public sector and know how to engage stakeholders and build relationships at both tactical and strategic level.

You are far more than a commercial point of contact—you act as a trusted advisor, spotting opportunities, thinking ahead and connecting the right people to move things forward. Navigating seamlessly between clients, vendors, manufacturers and internal specialists, you know how to bring each stakeholder together. While working closely with colleagues, you also take full ownership of your own business area. That calls for an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong sense of ownership and the drive to continuously create and convert opportunities.

Your job.

  • You’ll build and strengthen long-term relationships across the public sector, from municipalities and regional authorities to educational institutions and government bodies
  • Growing existing accounts while opening doors to new opportunities comes naturally to you—you know how to spot potential and act on it
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, you guide clients towards the right IT solutions and services, using a consultative approach that fits their needs and ambitions
  • Complex sales cycles, tenders and RFP processes are yours to own—from the first conversation through to a successful close
  • Creating strong, persuasive proposals is part of your day-to-day, just like presenting them with confidence to a range of stakeholders
  • When it comes to negotiations, you know how to find the right balance and bring contracts over the line
  • You’re constantly switching between clients, vendors, manufacturers and internal specialists, connecting the right people at the right time
  • Market developments don’t go unnoticed—you translate them into concrete opportunities within the public sector
  • Close collaboration with account managers, solution specialists and internal teams ensures the best possible outcomes for your clients
  • At the same time, you keep a firm grip on progress, quality and commercial results across your accounts and projects

Your profile.

  • You have a university degree or comparable professional experience.
  • You have several years of commercial experience within IT solutions or services
  • Experience in—or a strong affinity with—the public sector is a clear advantage
  • Complex sales cycles and tender processes energise you rather than slow you down
  • A relevant network is already in place, or you know exactly how to build and activate one quickly
  • Commercial instinct, an entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to think beyond the obvious set you apart
  • Switching between technical specialists and strategic decision-makers comes naturally—you know how to connect with both
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and a process-driven mindset help you keep overview and direction
  • Independence, curiosity and a collaborative mindset ensure you keep learning while actively working with colleagues and partners
