Clustered Compute: Testing conducted by Apple in July 2026 using pre-production Mac Studio systems with Apple M5 Ultra, 36‑core CPU, 80‑core GPU, 512GB of unified memory and 1TB SSD. LLM summarisation completion time measured with a 32K‑token prompt using a 72‑billion parameter dense model, mlx‑lm and MLX framework; performance compared between a single system and a 4‑node full‑mesh cluster with each system connected to the other three via Thunderbolt 5 and RDMA. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of Mac Studio.

Display: Screen size is measured diagonally. Actual diagonal screen size of the 24‑inch iMac is 23.5 inches. The displays on the MacBook Neo, 13‑inch and 15‑inch MacBook Air, and 14‑inch and 16‑inch MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 13.0 inches, 13.6 inches, 15.3 inches, 14.2 inches and 16.2 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).

Siri AI: Siri AI will be available in beta later this year and requires an Apple Intelligence–enabled device set to a supported language. Available in English to start. Siri AI will not initially be available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS.

Storage: 1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.

Thunderbolt 5: When configured with M5 Ultra, the two USB‑C ports support Thunderbolt 5 at up to 120Gb/s.

Touch ID: Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is included with iMac (M4) systems with 10‑core GPU, iMac (M3) systems with 10‑core GPU, and iMac (M1) systems with 8‑core GPU. It is available as an option on iMac (M3) systems with 8‑core GPU and iMac (M1) systems with 7‑core GPU.
